Today, I've paired a one-shoulder top from Ann Taylor with a pair of joggers from AllSaints.
While we feature Ann Taylor a lot on the blog, sometimes I feel they get overlooked---just a bit. I'm really loving their Summer collection this year. Perhaps a little more understated than some of the retailers we've featured heavily this year, Ann Taylor always feels fresh and modern.
One-shoulder tops are definitely in this year. But if they're not for you, this print comes in a puff sleeve wrap top and a v-neck raglan top as well.

3. Auden Jogger Trousers

The past few years changed the way many of us work (and play). A lot of us traded button-downs for tees and trousers for joggers. "Business chic" gave way to "casual chic" (and sometimes just "casual").
One of the (quietly) emerging trends I've been really interested in is how to take traditional casual items and integrate them into a more "dressed-up" look.
I picked up this pair of joggers from AllSaints recently, and I absolutely love them. I've definitely worn them casually. (See my alternative boards for some inspiration.) But today I threw on a pair of slingbacks and a more formal crossbody to dress them up just a bit. And I've got to be honest with you, I'm really liking the results.
And if you want to get even more adventurous, I can even see taking this theme farther. Swap the slingbacks for a pair of heels. Add a modern blazer and you're off to the races.

My guess is the main reason that more of your readers don’t buy from Ann Taylor is because of their prices. They are pretty high. And though I like their quality, I have only bought from them on one or two occasions.

Ann Taylor being overlooked on the blog has nothing to do with prices. As a matter of fact, Ann Taylor offers terrific prices and great sales along with quality. They continue to be a top seller on the blog.
Hi – I really love your fingernail polish color! What is that? I like a pink during the summer, that’s bright and cheery, but not psychedelic. Sadly, I have a slightly psychedelic pink on my fingers and toes right now. Looking for a change.
PS – not loving the joggers. For just me – I need a more structured pant. But it’s a very interesting idea.

no worries if you’re not loving the joggers. it’s merely an alternative for a casual chic look that many of us love.
Great idea for traveling in our RV. I can be comfy on the road in my joggers and then dress them up when we stop for dinner at a restaurant. No need to take a separate outfit. Thanks for all your good suggestions.
I am a big fan of joggers due to their versatility. Just as you mentioned, dress them up or down. They look amazing either way.
