And a very Happy 2024! It’s here, the new year, and with it all the possibilities it brings. Some people kick off the new year with resolutions or choose a theme. Others decide to get healthy, opt for a new fitness routine, and eat well. Some of us love to tidy up and get organized, so we jump-start our spring cleaning early with a closet cleanse or overhaul our kitchen organization system. Others of us set goals or intentions for the new year with a vision board. Some kick off the new year with dry January, stop smoking, join Weight Watchers, or take a break after the hustle and bustle of the holidays with a mini vacation or devote an entire day to catch up on sleep and laze around the house. Whatever your take on the new year is, it’s a wonderful time to rethink and reassess our lives because the new year brings new opportunities. New year = New adventures!
My life will finally slow down a smidge as my son and his beautiful bride officially tied the knot on New Year's Eve! What a day! But what a wonderful weekend we spent together. As a mother, it’s a great feeling to have all of your sons married to wonderful women. I am truly blessed! I can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for all of the Djalali’s.

It was a bit chilly in Georgia this weekend, so I took advantage of sweater weather and wore a Fair Isle sweater jacket and Hampshire ankle pants from Talbots. The Hampshire pants have a great fit due to the new Invisiflex Comfort Waist Technology, which has an invisible elastic back waistband that adjusts to your body for the perfect, comfortable fit. Genius!

I popped a sleeveless turtleneck underneath and added a fair isle beanie for extra warmth and a dash of cuteness. You just can’t go wrong with a beanie! On my recent cruise, I noticed European women regularly wore beanies when they were out and about running errands. And I have to admit it’s an easy choice when it comes to hats.
