if you’re looking for a chic way to wear a summer dress, just add a vest. blazers always perk up a simple sheath dress, but long vests are on-trend at the moment and see no sign of disappearing anytime soon. i’ve worn this vest with denim here, and the dress was first seen on the blog here. but this is the first time i’ve paired the two. this ootd is perfect for the office, client meetings or a charity lunch. the vest brings in an element of sophisticated fun, and my brain is already churning with ideas of how to wear it next. maybe when the temps cool down, i’ll pop it over a sweater. in the meantime. i’m greeting this summer morning in style.
