Happy Thursday! As spring arrives, my motivation to tackle chores like spring cleaning and organizing kicks in. Part of my routine is to clean out my clothes closet as I rotate my winter and warmer-weather clothes. This always fills me with excitement as I typically end up with space in my closet for a few new spring outfits. Today, it’s Spring Dresses for Petites.
With holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day on the horizon, I have occasion to spring for a new spring frock! So today, I have a fun polka dot dress from Ann Taylor, plus I have gathered up a number of my favorite spring dresses for petites you can find in collage boards at the end of this post.

Polka dots are such a quintessential spring print, in my book. I love the colors of this dress. The blue is navy, but it has some green in it. The color is dubbed Mystic Navy and it’s a gorgeous deep blue that feels new and fresh. The dots are not white, but a cream color – also with a little green in it. Such an interesting take on navy and white!
This Petite Dot Ruffle Sleeve Flare Dress is nearly sold out in petite sizes, but fear not, I have collected a bunch of new spring dresses for any occasion at the end of this post.
I went with neutral accessories for this ensemble because the color palette is so unique, trying to match my shoes or bag would be tough. Spring-appropriate rattan or wicker is a great seasonal neutral. Each adds a little texture, but isn’t too matchy-matchy or overwhelming.
These pumps are from Sam Edelman. The Hazel Pointed Toe Heel is a classic pump, and it comes in a ton of colors, patterns and materials. If you wear heels, picking up at least one pair of these means you’ll always have a go-to pump that is surprisingly comfortable.
My clutch is a rattan bag from several years ago, but I have found a couple alternatives that aren’t exactly the same, but will work just as well for your outfit.

There are several cute dresses featured in this post. Unfortunately, there is not a link for the short sleeve green dress under the category of everyday dresses. There are instead 2 links for the knit dress.
Sorry about that Fran. The link has been updated and here it is for your convenience:
