once summer temps hover in the 90s, i’m dress obsessed with t-shirt dresses. why? they’re typically lightweight, and they skim your curves rather than hug them. just what you want on a hot summer day. and we all know dresses are easy to accessorize as they’re one and done! but i also love the versatility that comes along. dresses can be dressed up or dressed down. many of us are still in the workforce, and dresses are perfect for the office. pop a blazer over the top, and voila! instant chic. headed to dinner after work? simply remove the blazer, exchange your pumps for sandals, and you’re ready for date night.
yep, there are other outfits and brands to shop for besides the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. while i love to follow this epic sale and will give updates throughout the month, we all need a breather! right?! today, it’s all about Anthropologie, a brand i depend on to add a little spice to my outfits. they’re trendy, a little spendy, and oh so boho chic. but guess what? this t-shirt dress is anything but trendy. in fact, it’s classic style at its best. there’s nothing better than an LBD.

as i mentioned, i’m dress obsessed with t-shirt dresses for summer. but not all t-shirt dresses make the grade. it all depends on the fabric. too light or too thin, then every lump and bump appears. but too heavy is a deal-breaker on a hot summer day. enter today’s ootd t-shirt dress, which hits the sweet spot in so many ways, including the cotton fabric. this draped midi dress has an asymmetrical hemline that hits just below my knees. it’s a faux wrap, and you can adjust the tie to make the dress fit tighter or looser, depending on your mood. add a pair of heels (old, similar here and here) or wear sneakers. this dress (fits tts, i’m wearing a medium) can do it all. if you have travel plans on your agenda, this little number would be perfect to take along.

I agree. I come across so many cute things on this and other blog posts but by the time I go to the website they are sold out in everything, except sometimes xsmall. It makes it frustrating and feels a bit of a waste of time. I don’t think posting sale items is really relevant anymore.
it’s challenging for bloggers too. the supply chain is incredibly tight this year.
