it’s christmas eve day, gang! time to get it in gear. well, at least i don’t have to stand in line at target today. but i do need to make a grocery store run and fill the cart with last-minute goodies and fresh bread for sandwiches. christmas eve finds us grazing a charcuterie board, relish tray, spiral ham, and beef tenderloin. it’s easy peasy with all of our favorite fixings set out on the sideboard where we can pick and choose to our heart’s content.
since i’m keeping things simple and sweet at home today, i thought i’d do the same on the blog. so let’s kick off our annual year in review which has become a blog tradition. ladies, can you believe we marched straight through twelve months of content in a nano-second? at least it seemed like that to me. when i glance at these photos, i vividly remember each and every photo shoot as if it were yesterday!
when january arrived, it brought cold temperatures and a dusting of snow! it was time to don a cozy sweater from J.Crew similar here, classic military coat from Marks & Spencer similar here, and leopard print chelsea boots similar here.

many of you remember i began my fitness journey in january with FWTFL that’s better known as Faster Way to Fat Loss. it’s been quite a year keeping track of my macros combined with daily workouts. i’m definitely in better shape at the end of 2018 than at the beginning. stay tuned as i have big fitness goals planned for 2019. as i’ve mentioned before fitness is a way of life, not a short-term goal of weight loss alone. although you will lose those unwanted pounds with the help of FWTFL, the next six-week online class begins on december 31st. learn more about this transforming program here.

a quick trip to our old stomping grounds was on deck in february. the sun was shining, but san francisco was chilly. that didn’t stop us from visiting a local vineyard and eating at one of our favorite local restaurants. a striped cardigan sweater from J.Crew similar here kept me warm. high rise button front jeans from Madewell completes this laid-back cali look along with espadrilles from Tory Burch.
