stripes on repeat
if it’s spring then there are stripes and more stripes! but i just can’t help myself. nothing says preppy style quite like a striped tee. but add a stripe blazer into the mix and i’m a happy camper. this stripe boucle jacket has seen renditions from all my favorite brands over the past two years. j.crew being the first. but i finally decided to break down and add this one from banana republic factory to my collection when we were in charleston. and i’m so glad that i did. what a happy color combination that will be perfect all spring and summer. pop it over a pencil skirt for work or a cute summer dress. or as in today’s ootd a pair of white denim. these cute denim block heels are back in action and i finally broke out one of my favorite handbags that happen to be white.
yup, i’m loving spring and the warmer weather it brings.

I love stripes and have at least 3 blazers or jackets with stripes! They are so classic and I love the way you played stripes on stripes. The handbag makes the outfit chic without being too serious. Stripes, checks and polka dots—-I love them.
there’s something so cheerful about stripes, checks, and polka dots! who doesn’t love a monochromatic outfit. but if you want a smile on your face and spring to your step just add a pattern to your ootd. it works every time!

I want to be able to wear clothes just like you when I grow up. Actually I’m way passed your age at 72, but so admire your style, and must admit to covetousness. Loved the stripe inspiration today and those shoes are a must.
