who’s ready to ditch their coat and slip into something a little more comfortable? like shorts. well, the weather might not be springlike quite yet. but i do have a sneak peek of christopher and banks spring collection. and it is cute, cute, cute! for those of you headed to warmer climates for a little r & r, this post is for you. for whatever reason, this year all my winter trips happen to be in states with temps that are colder than georgia. minnesota in january. new york in february. what’s wrong with this picture?
but if you are one of the lucky ones visiting a sandy beach or setting sail on a cruise, here’s a tip. don’t forget to pack a pair of bermuda shorts and a tunic. this is a comfortable, versatile outfit that easily transitions from sightseeing to beachcombing to lunch. add a straw hat for extra protection against the elements. stack a few snazzy bracelets. add a pendant necklace. grab your tote and you’re off and running for the day.
today, we’re trying something new. there’s a short video of the ootd (outfit of the day) that is posted on youTube. if you haven’t subscribed to my youTube channel yet click here. please let me know what sorts of videos you are interested in watching. mr. style and i are slowly getting the hang of this new (to us) medium. and i’d love to hear your thoughts.

Love the video!!!! You look great as usual. I love that the tunic has pleats in the back. It has been cold here in Florida as well, but not as cold as Georgia. Stay warm!!!!
hi susan!
the temps dropped again, so i’m staying warm with the help of a coat and gloves. isn’t this tunic cute? the pleats give it a little shape. hope all is well in your world.

I like the video…keep it up! Where did you get your pretty red sandals?
hi janie!
thanks for the feedback. the sandals are from Land’s End. but i’ve had them for at least fifteen years. but i have noticed this style is back. so keep your eyes peeled in the stores for a similar pair.

The video is fun, of course. Kudos to Mr Style!
And cute outfit–wish I was heading to some tropical island somewhere. Calgon, take me away!! Last trip I took was to Turkey and Greece, and that was definitely fabulous, but it’s been awhile. I need some down time.
me too, girlfriend, me too! i have never visited greece or turkey but have heard great things about both. especially, greece. it’s on my to-do list.
