just because i’m wearing my monday blues doesn’t mean i have to sing them. instead, i’m chasing them away with a bright and bold print. why not kick off the week with a pattern play? today, i’ve paired them with a simple dark-rinse denim shirt. but once the temps begin to cool they’ll transition into fall with a cute cardigan topped over a tee. let’s not forget to kick this outfit up a notch with some fun accessories. lately, i’ve been loving sparkly earrings. doesn’t this pair add a little pizazz? but i kept the look from going over the top by bringing in a pair of indigo blue sandals. it partners nicely with the denim shirt and brings in that casual chic look i’m so fond of. now, i’m ready to step out the door with a fresh and modern look. monday? you’ve turned into a fun day.

Well, you know you have an outfit for the 4th of July, or pretty much any patriotic holiday! Always like red/white/blue. And I love a colorful pair of pants–you look great.
it’s so funny you mention this sue, because i almost saved this outfit for labor day! but these pants were just too dar cute to wait for the long weekend. do you have any special plans? ours is pretty low key as i’m gearing up for fashion week. i think i’m more excited about my visit with andrew, but i am looking forward to a new adventure as i’ve never attended fashion week.
xoxo
I have been eyeing these pants from Talbots since they first came out. They certainly look great on you. I love the dark denim shirt you chose. It is perfect!!
hi diane!
aren’t these pants just the cutest darn pair? there’s a skirt with the same pattern, and i debated which one to splurge for. but i’m very happy i picked the pants. let me know if you break down and add these to your shopping cart!
xoxo
I love print jeans! I have had several pairs over the years. I have a pair of floral ones now and I especially like polka dot ones.
i don’t know why, but i’m like you and always have a pair of pants with a bold print sitting in my closet. polka dots? where, when? love ’em.
xoxo
