if it’s time to wear leopard flats, then it’s time to find my red jeans because leopard and red is a terrific combination any time of year. and if i’m wearing red denim, then i might as well grab a chambray shirt because that’s a tried-and-true combination too. but then the thought ran through my mind a graphic tee might add a little pizazz to this ootd. and it does. see how easy it is to pull an outfit together?
several weeks ago, a lovely reader asked how i choose graphic tees. while i don’t have any hard and fast rules (it’s really just what catches my eye), i do love J.Crew’s collector series. today i’m wearing an NYC tee with iconic city scenes splattered across the front – yellow cab, statue of liberty, a pretzel and more. one of my kiddos lives in New York, so it was a no-brainer to bring this tee home with me. i also have London folded neatly on my shelf (purchased before a recent trip) and have thought once or twice about adding Paris into the mix. for whatever reason J.Crew does a bang-up job when it comes to tees. i’d guess 90% of my graphic tees were purchased there. take a peek at this one. it’s adorable and perfect for Mother’s Day – if you needed an excuse.

today’s hump day, gang, and this girl has lots of errands on her to-do list. i’m fairly certain all that’s left in our fridge is coffee and a couple of eggs. yikes! and i still have a few plants to buy for my salsa garden. i’m thinking cherry tomatoes and jalapenos this year. and i’m finishing a big project that’s soon to be revealed. one i think y’all will like. a lot. so a very happy wednesday before i zip off!
