it’s the first day of fall. so what is my first ootd of the season? why, a repurposed summer tunic last seen here. one trend you will see often in the coming months is a shirt or turtleneck layered underneath a dress. it’s a refresh of the ‘school girl’ look i was quite fond of back-in-the-day. so i went with a variation of that look and went with a tunic instead. since all i had to do was shop my closet to execute this ootd, guess who’s pleased as punch? every once in awhile all the ingredients for that perfect outfit are sitting on your shelf – and it’s heaven. throw on a necklace, stack a few bracelets, grab a tote and i’m ready for fall y’all.

I love the extra long tunics, vests, dusters! I want more. I need a bigger fashion budget.

I have that tunic, but I admit I hadn’t thought to carry it into fall. Looks great! You’ve given me some additional ideas….hmmmm!
how i missed this comment i’ll never know! but i really liked the long tunic paired with a simple button down. just goes to show it’s a good idea to try different things.

Such a cute and modern outfit with the long tunic, flats and cuffed jeans. Nice!
