and it’s home again, home again, jiggity jig. wow. what a whirlwind trip to minneapolis! i’m pooped, but i had a grand time with my friends at christopher and banks taking a peek at their spring collection. a photo shoot is quite an experience with all sorts of lovely and interesting people involved. there’s the makeup artist, the photographer, the models, the production assistants, the chef, the videographers, corporate vp, the stylist, the marketing specialist, and yours truly. as you can see it takes a village to bring a clothing collection to life. it’s great fun to be included due to all of the talented people. but i can assure you it’s hard work.
now that i’m back home, there’s a gazillion things on my to-do list. you know, glamorous stuff like a grocery store run. so i’m keeping my ootd simple and sleek with a pair of black ankle pants. one of my favorite color combos come winter is camel and black. you might say they are the dynamic duo of classic chic. add a striped shirt for contrast, pointy-toed flats and this outfit is in the books.

Sophisticated looks are often the most subdued as well. Looks chic. Glad you got home safely!
i am totally in a less is more phase. so i’m happy to hear it’s working!

Always love the classic sweater, shirt and pants. You look a little pensive today. Maybe all the things on you to-do list! Would the Alexis Bittar bracelet fit around a 7″ wrist or does it run small?
hi bobbie!
the bracelet is a standard size cuff. hope that helps.

Glad you had a good trip and are back home safe and sound! Love the way you take simple garments and make them look so chic. Crushing on the handbag…if I ever won the lottery, I would probably have a closet full of handbags… xoxo
me too, girlfriend, me too! handbags and shoes always take an outfit to the next level! the good news is most handbags last for years and years. so they’re a worthy investment.
