it’s another week gang as we inch our way to the end of another year. i know i sound like a broken record but, seriously, how did 2017 disappear so quickly?! my oh my but time sure does fly. so let’s hang on to every last minute and enjoy. this past weekend, mr. style and i went to see the movie ‘ladybug’ which was excellent. what a sweet movie acted with extraordinary grace by all the actors. but the lead character ‘ladybug/christine’ played by Saoirse Ronan was a delight to watch. what a talented actress! it’s a coming of age movie that’s well written and worth a see.
what we originally wanted to watch was the winston churchill flick ‘darkest hour’ but it’s not in our local theaters. yet. hopefully, it will be in wide release in the next few weeks. this is a must-see for this history buff. and WWII is a fascinating time period wrought with conflict and courage.
okay, okay, enough of my ramblings. you all showed up for a glimpse of my ootd. cobalt pants from loft, striped blouse also from loft, a snazzy ralph lauren jacket that’s back in action, and kate spade velvet ballet flats similar here.

pretty colors! I like the jacket–I have one that must be a knockoff style from H&M some years ago. I’ve heard great things about both of those movies. I’ll have to try to get to see them. Thanks for the heads up.
i’m waiting impatiently for ‘the darkest hour’ to arrive in athens.

Can’t go wrong with cobalt blue as the anchor! I want to see those movies as well.
love this shade of blue! and cobalt looks fantastic when paired with black.

I loved that movie too. But it’s Lady BIRD. 😉
OH, and we have decided at our house that Saoirse Ronan is the next Meryl Streep.
she is a marvelous actress that’s for certain!
