  1. I love black and white or navy blue and white! You look so stylish. You must have a ton of white pants. I have about 5 pairs myself in different styles and materials, like linen, cotton, denim. Have a great day!

i have several pairs of white denim as well as several pairs of white pants. the denim i wear all year long. the pants only in the summer months so i wear them non-stop.

I appreciate you showing looks both with and without a belt; I sometimes struggle with whether or not to wear a belt, Whether to tuck in my top or not, and I think most of the time the answer is no primarily based on comfort! But in looking at your photos the belt does pull the outfit together well. One suggestion for your posts that I think all of us would appreciate: if you could indicate what kind of undergarments you are wearing under each OOTD It would be extremely helpful. I know you have posted articles that deal specifically with undergarments but when it comes to a particular type of top (such as the black tank you’re wearing in this) I find myself wondering, “how is she hiding her bra straps?”, or “What kind of panties is she wearing that don’t show at all under white pants?”, etc. As you’ve mentioned, the proper undergarments can make or break an outfit.

thanks for the suggestion! i always wear nude or skin-toned panties when wearing white. that’s why you don’t see a visible panty line. my favorite panties are Hanky Panky. as for the bra, there are several options: racerback bra, a strapless bra, a bra that converts to a racerback bra, or a racerback bra clip that will convert a regular bra to a racerback. the right lingerie can make or break your outfit. and it’s important to fill your lingerie drawer with a variety of styles. there’s nothing more frustrating than putting on an outfit with the wrong lingerie. so i try to resolve that problem by stocking up especially when there’s a sale!

I got a laugh when I saw your post today! I am wearing a black bat wing top and white flared jeans today also. Great minds, eh!😆 I enjoy your posts very much as your style and mine are so similar, today being a case in point. Hope your skies clear soon so you and Oscar can walk in the sunshine.

Looking good, Beth! So simple and chic. The other day I scored that two-fabric, mostly black and white wrap top from Anthropologie that you sported a few weeks back. And it was $100 off! I’m so excited. I am anticipating delivery with fingers crossed that it fits. Hope I can wear it as well as you do.

    Hi Beth:

Congratulations! You have an amazing sense of style. The white pants you have paired with the black sleeveless sweater. You indicated that you have them in several colours. Where are these pants from? I know you have added a link for similar from Talbots but I like the look of the ones you have on. They seem lighter with more of a flare at the bottom. Thank you

    • Beth Djalali says:

the cropped flare jeans i’m wearing in this blog post are from Talbots. it’s directly linked to the product in the post as it is still in stock and available to purchase. if you watched the video the white pants paired with the striped top and red mules are from Theory. i have those pants in three colors. hope this helps clarify your question.

    Really enjoy these videos.

Hi Beth, you look absolutely chic and fabulous – thank you so much for your posts which I look forward to immensely.
I love your hair too.My question is that I have recently transitioned to grey hair, but have always worn gold earrings which I love. Some of my friends have said I should now ditch these and only wear silver.
I’d love to know what is your opinion on this “rule?” Thanks, Eva

    • Beth Djalali says:

i’ve never figured out why, exactly, we’re supposed to give up gold jewelry if we’ve turned gray. i wear gold as well as silver. so if you have gold jewelry you love feel free to wear it. i’m of the opinion wear what you love.
