Inspiration Look
Today’s Inspo Look is: BLUE DENIM. I’m taking a fresh and updated approach to blue eyeshadow, which feels very springtime to me. I’m sure some of you are thinking, “No way, I don’t want to go back to the ’60s or ‘80s with blue shadow!” But hear me out.
For spring, just a light wash of any shade of blue in the center of the lid, like I’m wearing here, with a bit of warm neutral brown embracing it, can look so fun and unexpected. I chose a medium denim blue shade of shadow to go with my all-denim look!
Paired with a neutral, easy lip and cheek, it allows the blue to take center stage without being overpowered by the rest of my makeup colors. Added in this super cute quilted denim jacket from Walmart, $29 (wearing a medium), and this flattering square neck sweater top underneath, $24 (also a medium). Threw on my bejeweled stone J necklace, $168, from Sequin that literally goes with everything!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place concealer (now $19, value $38 ). We all know and love the iconic Double Wear foundation formula, so why wouldn’t you love the concealer by the same name?? This skin-perfecting concealer can conceal, contour, and highlight. It delivers 24-hour wear and oil control with immediate moisture. I’m wearing it in this post in shade 3C.
The Original Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream product (now $12, value $26). With notes of pistachio, almond, vanilla, sandalwood, and others, this could be described as “the scent of summer.” When the bum bum cream is applied, you feel like a tropical goddess with the softest skin. My teen daughter and I both wear the hair and body mist spray!
Benefit Hoola Bronzer (now $18, value $38). Another classic makeup product that’s been a favorite for over a decade, the Hoola bronzer, the original, is the perfect shade of bronze with no orange tones. They now make it in a few other shades, and the “light” shade is so good for fair-skinned gals who struggle to find a bronzer that doesn’t make them look dirty! It’s fabulous.

Sunday, March 22nd
Buxom Plump Shot Plumping Lip Serum Gloss I mixed the shades “Hypnotic Garnet” + “celestial nude” in this post (now $14.50, value $29). I own 8 shades of this lip serum if that tells you anything! It’s the perfect blend of sheer tint, with a pop of color, and just enough juicy shine, and leaves your lips with a tingly sensation that feels oh so good! Definitely a good product for women who don’t like traditional heavy lipstick or super sticky glosses.
LolaVie Glossing Detangler (now $14.50, value $29). This brand developed along with Jennifer Aniston (the actress known for her hair!), and this specific glossing detangler has been a fave of mine for 6 months now. It’s a multi-award-winning, best-selling multitasker: it’s a detangler, heat protectant, frizz fighter, shine enhancer, and hydrator all in one. I use mine on towel-dried hair, brush it through, then blow-dry.
Bobbi Brown select Blushes (now $18, value $36). I started wearing Bobbi Brown powder blushes back in the early 2000’s, and the formulas and color choices are still elite! The shade “Antigua” has always been a fave. Her cream blushes are also a great choice for more mature and drier skin.

Cakes Body Solutions (now $16.50, value $33). This is an interesting one because I didn’t realize Ulta sold these, but I’m so happy they do! If you ever struggle in the summertime with tank tops or dresses, and what bra to wear with them, then these genius things are your answer. These patent-pending, dermatologist-tested & approved nipple covers offer seamless coverage and subtle shaping—no adhesive required and not sticky, just grippy. They’re designed to disappear under snug-fitting tops & dresses and are truly undetectable. Great price for these and they’re reusable!
Alterna Anti-Aging Hair Care products (now $14- $23). The reviews are incredible for this line of luxurious cleansers and conditioners that contain a blend of Caviar Extract and Antioxidants that are known to reinfuse hair with nutrients that are lost in the aging process, to significantly improve vibrancy and manageability. From hairspray, texture spray, volume mousses, etc, there’s a salon-quality product for all of us!

Clinique Moisture Surge Gel Moisturizer + Serums (now $24 -$32.50, value $48-$65). Oh friends, if you want hydrated, soft skin, look no further than these two products. With a blend of vitamins C + E, these products literally soothe skin in seconds, and make it feel cushiony and glowy!
Numiere Feather LED mask, (now $199, value $399). If you’ve been wanting to try out a red light therapy mask, this price is actually really good for one of these masks at half off. I notice such a difference when I use mine consistently for 10 minutes a day; however, I have a different brand. They help to stimulate collagen production, which helps to visibly smooth fine lines, enhance radiance, and support luminous skin!
Dermalogica Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser (now $19.50, value $39). I’ve always wanted to try this cleanser, and at this price, I will. With almost a 5-star rating, this cleanser refreshes and leaves a lasting glow, along with the help of a Phyto Mucin blend and Lotus Root extract, and sets the stage for radiant, healthy skin.

Angie Hot + Flashy Brush Set ( now $65, value $130) You all KNOW what a fan I am of the BK beauty line of makeup brushes, and this set is MADE for our mature faces! If there’s one deal you take advantage of this week, it should be this one. With 5 eye brushes and 2 face brushes, which include the viral popular concealer kitten paw brush I don’t want to know life without, this is an incredible deal for high-quality brushes!
Tocca Luxury Fragrance Wardrobe ( now $34, value $68). These .15-ounce spray vials of 9 different Tocca scents are a fun one. There are 14 shade options of this highly-rated, lightweight, non-sticky lip balm that is supercharged with 12% squalane and provides instant shine. It’s a gorgeous product for anyone who wants a luxe, buttery lip experience.
GrandeBrow Brow Enhancing Serum, (now $36.50, value $73). I’ve been using their lash serum and can definitely see enhanced volume, so I bet this brow growth serum is great! Just looking at the before and after pics, it would give me the confidence to try this. It says to use it for 6-8 weeks to see results, which is very typical for these growth serums to kick in.
Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme +Creams, (now $60, value $120). Having worked for Estee Lauder right out of college, I’ve always been a big believer in the brand and its effective skincare products. This Revitalizing Supreme+ formula gets high ratings for firming and lifting aging skin, and offers a daytime, nighttime, and one with SPF option!
