Can you ladies believe it’s almost Thanksgiving??! When I started my inaugural post about this Pretty Powerful Series last month, I was just decorating for Halloween with ghosts and pumpkins! But at 47 years of age, I should know by now that these last three months of the year are ALWAYS a blur and go by way too quickly!
Like I mentioned in October, these monthly round-up posts are simple beauty, skincare, or lifestyle finds that particularly stand out, impress me, or just help me with my overall self-image during the month. These things have basically made a “pretty powerful” impression on me – ha ha!!

Speaking of skincare, if you’re needing some help with achieving smoother looking skin, my post last week dived right into the steps and products working their magic for me currently, so take a look. I’ve found some stellar products at great price points you can immediately update your routine with.
Now, of course, like a good friend does, she does not gatekeep great things from her friends – she shares them! So let’s get into this month’s most loved favorites and see if anything speaks to you…

Pretty Powerful November Beauty Favorites

November Beauty Favorites #1
Eylure ¾ false lash strips, No. 015, $11. Have you been wanting to try false lash strips, but are scared you’re going to look overdone or your eyes will be weighed down? Then experiment with this exact style. You won’t need to trim them or anything, and they come with a tiny glue that you don’t have to buy separately. They look good on everyone, I promise. I am wearing them in this post, and they give just enough volume and length without looking fake at all. They’re the perfect addition to your face for holiday parties!
November Beauty Favorites #2
L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray, $11. It smells like legit hairspray for the face, which I have gotten over because, ladies, it LOCKS DOWN your makeup looks and does not budge. I have been going to a lot of UGA football games lately, where we tailgate all day, and I spray the heck out of my face with this, and I look GREAT even when I come home after a full day of walking, yelling, and eating tailgate food. Try this if you get annoyed that your face seems to eat your makeup up by the end of the day.

November Beauty Favorites #3
Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation, $69, wearing shade light medium 9. I didn’t want to like it because of the price, but I do. It’s such a thin liquid, you think “there’s no way this can cover anything,” but then it proves you wrong. It has a true serum-like feel, weightless, but it blurs beautifully without being heavy. Sorry to my wallet.
November Favorites #4
Bauble Bar initial blankets + throws, prices vary up to $118. It’s officially gift-giving season, and when you want to spend around $100, this is the gift! It’s personal, soft, so cute, and available in so many variations and color combos. It’s in my office, and every client who shows up compliments how cute it is.

If you’re struggling with a good gift to give someone that isn’t a random candle or fruitcake, give them one of these blankets with their first or last name initial, or full name. It’s a truly winning gift! Just be sure to order no later than 12/11 to get them in time for Christmas.

November Favorites #5
Hoka Kawana 2 sneakers, $99. I’ve had the worst foot pain lately while exercising, walking my neighborhood, as well as during my Fit Body boot camp classes. Well, it’s because my old sneakers had no tread left! I’d heard Hoka’s were superior in comfort, but I hated to spend over $150 for tennis shoes. So I got an alert that this specific style was on sale for $99, and I jumped at the chance in shade “cosmic gray.” My friends, they’re like walking on a cloud, seriously. If you need supportive sneakers, give these a try at this sale price before they’re gone.
November Favorites #6
Amazon sequin palazzo pants, $35. It’s the holidays, so of course you have a reason to wear sequin pants! And I have the perfect ones I bought back in February for a 50th bday party, and can’t believe how many times I’ve already worn them! They have an elastic waistband design, but stay in place and have a super flattering high waist design to cover the belly! I even wore them to our biggest Georgia game of the year against Texas, (as you can see in this pic) and they are that comfortable but make a statement. Dress them up or down, they’re a conversation piece for sure. I’m wearing a small.

November Beauty Favorites #7
L’Oreal Infallible matte liquid lipsticks, wearing shade “Worth it Medium”, $15. I also love this in their new laque formula which has a subtle shine to it, but also has incredible longevity. This is what you need for upcoming holiday meals and cocktail parties because it won’t come off while eating or drinking from wine glasses! The trick is to apply 2 light layers, letting it dry down in between layers for a few seconds.

Alright, friends, is anyone in charge of cooking for Thanksgiving? I’m hosting 26 family members at my house the evening of, BUT, I’m ordering takeout because that’s a way too overwhelming number for me. I’ll make this tomato Boursin cheese dip for an app – it’s easy and so delish, and I’ll have plenty of mimosas, but everything else will be handled by a restaurant, and I’ll delegate desserts to other family members. Please don’t judge! Less stress, more family time, without me being stuck in the kitchen all night. I hope you all have the best holiday 🙂
