one thing i never tire of is beauty products. whether it’s makeup, skincare, or haircare, i’m always ready, willing, and able to try something new on for size. Nordstrom is always a beauty go-to for me because they carry so many different brands. today i rounded up a few of my beauty and skincare favorites from Nordstrom. some are tried, and true favorites, and some are brand new to me. i’ve been a big fan of Ruby Woo Mac’s best-selling red lipstick for some time. lately, i’ve been using Nudeies Bloom blush in Cherry Blossom. or how about it cosmetics CC Cream that has a-ma-zing coverage. Benefit Gimme Brow is a great eyebrow gel that looks natural. recently i switched to the color gray and am loving the results. but Nars is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands, so i bought a little bit of this and a little bit of that to share with you.
Elemis is definitely a go-to skincare brand that i count on year after year, product after product. the pro-collagen hydra-gel masks are soothing and help with fine lines and provide an instant skin-tightening effect. place two patches over each eye, brew a cup of tea and relax after a long day. when the time comes, they will be perfect for throwing in my travel bag. the dynamic resurfacing facial pads act as a gentle skin-perfecting exfoliator. typically, i exfoliate my skin once or twice a week. these facial pads work for all skin types. i don’t know about you but these days, my neck needs some serious attention not only from the effects of aging but tech neck (all that craning over phones, laptops, and the like), so i thought i’d try pro-collagen face & neck serum.
i’ve loved Estee Lauder ever since i raided my mother’s beauty cabinet. love their make-up remover lotion Take It Away. for a gentle cleanser, look no further than Nutritious Super Pomegranate 2-in-1 Cleansing Foam that gets two thumbs up.
shopping online allows me to scroll through new products or head straight to my favorite brands. today, i thought i’d check out what was new at Nars, a makeup brand i know i can count on. i am in love with their new Air Matte Lip Gloss.

i started using Revitalash Eyelash and Eyebrow Conditioner last summer. i have been so impressed with my lashes that are now thicker and longer, which is a win/win at any age but especially at 62. lashes seem to all but disappear as we age. and my eyebrows are definitely fuller. my aesthetician is so impressed with the results that she comments every time i visit.
a few of my favorite things about Nordstrom.
love, love, love fresh skincare. this travel size set is perfect for trying this skincare on for size. there is always a set in my travel bag. if you haven’t yet tried Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment, you are missing out. it keeps my lips hydrated all day long.
okay, i’ve been raving about NuFace Toning Device for some time now. the reason being it works. it’s on the pricey side, but it’s a good investment, especially when you see the results. the hydrating leave-on gel primer helps replenish and revitalize dry skin while ensuring optimal microcurrent conductivity.

Beth- Have you done a post on shoe selection? I notice you have a tone of shoe styles and with any outfit, you immediately change it up with the shoe you are wearing. unfortunately, I can not have as many shoes to chose from but I want to make sure I have the right shoes to chose from in my closet when I put my outfits together and also have the ability to change my style with just a different shoe. I would like to know when to choose a loafer, sneaker, heel, or boot. If you have done this in the past please let me know where to look it up. If you haven’t I would love to see that post in the future. I always look forward to your posts, they are my daily inspiration! Thank you for helping me look my best! You look fabulous!!
here’s a post on shoes:

I just ordered the Nars Air Matte Lip Color one your recommendation. Thanks!!
let me know what you think! i am impressed.
Thanks again for sharing, Beth. Always nice to see what is available.
Due to allergies, I can only use Sweet Almond oil to take my makeup off. It doesn’t clog pores and will take off even the long wear makeup. Rub it, wipe off with a microfibre cloth, so no drying either. In that vein, I will definitely try the Fresh Honey mask. Revlon used to make a fantastic honey peel off mask – silk face. Have been looking for a replacement and this sounds very promising as very few additives.
Have fun playing in the new jams and jellies, Beth. Best part of being a woman 🎁
it’s fun being a girl!
Beth,
Do you have a recommendation for a facial sunscreen?
