Spring’s arrival brings a sense of renewal both outside and inside our homes. I relish the opportunity to reorganize my clothes closet when it’s time to move winter clothes out of the way! This year, I am taking storage to a whole new level by getting creative with my winter clothes and linens storage.
Vacuum sealing duvets and linens and storing them in big plastic totes in my garage and shed really makes a huge difference in my closet space – which if your house is like mine, there’s not much! Another big difference is recognizing that my guest room is underutilized by guests and therefore makes a perfect space to store a clothes rack with my winter clothes and shoes. If guests come for a short stay, wheeling the rack into my bedroom is no big deal.
