Very Pacific northwest! Where I live, so it works for those living here.

You’re right about the overnight change. We woke up to white yesterday. There was a foot of snow, and more falling. The leaves are still on the trees.

What is your lip color? It’s so flattering!

I grew up on the outskirts of NY, where we definitely had early falls. Then, we used to see fall colors reach their peak in VA and NC around mid-October but these days, here in NC, it’s typically ablaze in color come November! I love fall fashion, and will enjoy watching your transition posts.

we’re inching towards fall, sue, even here in the south. but i’m excited to travel to new york next week where the temps will definitely be lower than ours. xo

Love the post and your ideas, but when I look at the belt it says it is Ralph Lauren and $ 795. WOW, that is a lot. Wouldn’t have expected that.

Look forward each day to your posts. Just love your outfits and did purchase the red sweater with the lovely applique. I do have a question and hope someone can help me, if not you. I cannot go without stockings in the winter and have become accustomed to wearing nice socks. Problem….what type of shoe to wear with them since I don’t care to wear sneakers when I go out? Would new style booties be appropriate? HELP!!!

    • beth djalali says:

socks and loafers are a nice look. booties are always a good choice. and then there’s knee high boots as well. all of these choices look fabulous all winter long. xo
