As always– just so elegant. I will remember and share your words- look upwards first and forward second. Thank you. Happy Easter and Peace be with you.

  2. Sangita M says:

You and Oscar look great Beth!
Wishing peace and love for Easter to you and your family. Can’t wait to make the Greyhound!

  3. Ali says:

Dear Beth, the two fury Os and family,
    Wishing you a Happy Easter!
Your blog gives me all sorts of ideas about fashion, food and cocktails. More importantly, it shines a light on what a lovely person you are and I so enjoy your company over the internet. All my best wishes coming your way. Stay safe and healthy,

  4. Sylvia Espinoza says:

Love your creativity and thinking outside the box for what to wear though required to stay home! Have thought of shirt dresses of yesteryear recently, recalling tv shows and commercials, along with magazine ads, featuring
them as ladies worked in the home…wearing heels, too! Could hardly wait to grow up and do likewise…lol! Harriet Nelson, Donna Reed, June Cleaver, to name a few, wore those dresses perfectly on their weekly family shows. Sweet memories! Sunday will do virtual worship with our little church via Facebook. Will greet children, children-in-law, and grands the same way–with cyber love and hugs! These days of reflection will continue on. Appreciate your hard work, Beth. A blessed Easter to all~

  5. Susan says:

Beth, Happy Easter to you and your family!
Thank you for the uplifting message today. Love the dress, looks wonderful on you!

  6. Linda says:

Hi Beth! I love to see Oscar and you enjoying each others company. With social distancing it’s so nice to have a companion like him in the house with you. His love is unconditional. I hope that you and Oscar and Ollie have a special Easter together. And by the way, I love your hair! Thanks for showing us how special your pets are to you😊

  7. Lindsey A says:

The Peter Rabbit set is just adorable!

In terms of Easter egg hunts, we had our 7 year old daughter cut out large eggs from her pastel colored construction paper, and decorate those. We’ve taped them up in the front window so that those on their neighborhood walks can spot them. It kept her busy for a while, she has a sense of pride in them being on display, and hopefully others will get some happiness from seeing them. My hubby and I may or may not have got in on the fun too 😉

I’m looking forward to dressing up for lunch on Sunday, even though we’re not going anywhere of course. What a lovely way you phrased it – look upwards then forwards.

  8. Mary Eddy says:

    Beth,
Thank you so very much for your posting. They are a bright light in a monotonous day. Reminds all of us that yes, we will once again be back to dressing to go out, celebrating with friends and family, etc.
Happy Easter to you and stay safe.

  9. Andrea says:

Happy Easter, Beth. Thanks again for emphasizing social distancing – a life saver.

On that note, the Geyhound sounds delicious, but just a word of warning or any one on heart meds, check first because grapefruit interferes with cholesterol meds. Not sure about others, so check first.

Take Beth and all the best to you and your family 🌷

  10. Julie Mycock says:

    Hi Beth, everything looks lovely.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Easter xoxo Julie from England

  11. Rory says:

I love your table scapes! Where did you get those giant eggs! Happy holiday to you and puppy and cat. Stay well.

  12. Cindylou says:

Lovely post and Happy Easter to you. I love your lipstick color, can you tell us what it? Thanks.

  13. Suzanne M Smith says:

Have a wonderful Easter weekend. So far, Zoom has been our method of bonding with one another. We used this method at work to do virtual sessions with prospective students and admits, so it still seems strange to me to be doing it in our personal lives, but at least it’s a technology that’s not too tough for anyone to master, and a way to “gather” virtually. I still try to do some decorating here for the holiday, but admittedly, it’s not quite the same. We are counting our blessings that we’re all safe and healthy right now, in our respective places. “This, too, shall pass.”

  14. Eve says:

I can’t try the recipe because there is a shortage of eggs. They are limiting us to only 2 items of anything so I feel sorry for people with children who are trying to get enough for an Easter egg hunt. If you have a SAMs club, they still have some but getting a pick up date is hard.
Your home is so lovely and Easter rabbits are charming, we are keeping a laid back attitude and worth remembering the AA clubs words, “Help me change the things I can, accept the things I can’t, and wisdom to know the difference,

  15. jackie says:

Another great post. Apart from your fabulous style in fashion and home styling your posts take the focus off the restrictions and encourage us all to look at things differently. Wonderful thing to do

  16. Eileen Logan says:

As always, everything is perfect at the table. We too have an Oscar, my husband’s service dog, so needless to say I feel a special bond with you and Oscar. Easter this year at our house will be different but change never hurt anyone.. The girls will call and text throughout the day and we will FaceTime. It isn’t the same but it will be perfect. Wishing everyone a beautiful and healthy Easter Season.

  17. Jacki F. says:

Love your blog and especially enjoy Fridays with Oscar & Ollie. You are so uplifting! I think your hair looks so lovely in this longer style. Thank you for bringing happiness and diversion to us during this challenging time. Buona Pasqua!

  18. Bonnie Abrams says:

I always love your place settings, Beth. Here in Wisconsin we’re looking at rain, 40 degree temps for Easter with snow at night! Ha! so no sandals for us. Will make the usual Easter dinner of ham, potatoes, beans, deviled eggs and lemon meringue pudding for dinner and drop a couple of servings at my son’s door. Happy Easter. Looks as if you have it covered. I love that handsome dude named “Oscar.”

  19. Cassie Jilot says:

    Hi!
For the baked egg recipe, I don’t see the eggs listed under ingredients. It seems to call for four, from the directions, correct?

Your dress is terrific in this post, and Greyhounds are a favorite happy hour treat of mine, too! Thank you for another great escape! Stay well, Beth.

  20. Where can I buy the 3 larger Easter eggs and 3 white holders used on your Easter table?
