Hello Friday, we meet again. I have to admit Friday is one of my favorite days of the week. Not only are we winding down the work week, but we're also kicking off the weekend—double the Fun! And let me tell you, I’m looking forward to a casual weekend. It’s been busy the past two weeks with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Days. July has turned into the Super Bowl of shopping! It’s a lot of fun but also a lot of work.
Kelly has whipped up Shrimp Linguine this week, so if you’re looking for a delicious summer meal, this should be on your list. And I’m whipping up a White Negroni, a variation of one of my go-to cocktails - The Negroni. Of course, my goofy pets Oscar and Ollie are on hand and typically underfoot as we shoot Fridays with Oscar. I was a bit worried about Oscar’s health at the beginning of the year - he turns ten this year, which is old for German shepherds. Their life span is nine to thirteen. But let me tell you, after putting him on joint supplements - Zuvo changing to JD Mobility dog food and now a monthly arthritis shot - Librela, Oscar is a new man. Or should is say new dog?! He definitely has a spring to his step and a dent in my wallet, but he’s worth it!

Yellow Cropped Flare Denim
Today, I slipped into a pair of yellow cropped flare denim and a navy racerback tee, a simple style formula that works all spring and summer. What’s easier to put together than a tee and denim? And y’all know I sing the praises of metallic shoes because they go with everything. This pair is from Pedro Garcia (limited sizes similar here and here), which are on the pricey side but worth the extra penny. I have it on good report that Jennifer Aniston loves this brand.

White Negroni
A White Negroni swaps the Campari for Suze, which is a gentian root-based French Aperitif. The flavor is bitter, but lighter and more earthy than the bitter citrus flavor of Campari. A smooth and easy drink for summer, give the White Negroni a try!
Shrimp Linguine with Herbs, Corn and Arugula
This is a classic Shrimp Linguine, but we've made it perfect for summer by adding fresh corn, arugula, and fresh herbs for a wonderful summer dish. This pasta dish is great hot and cold, so it makes for great leftovers!

The pants look a lot more yellow in your pictures than they do on the website. I may take a chance on them hoping that the color is more like you’re modeling.

Gracie ( who is a Golden Retreiver and will be 14 in September) is on Librela also! We feel that she would not be alive if it wasn’t for Librela. It’s $98 every 4 weeks, so it’s not cheap, but definitely worth it! Have a wonderful weekend!
Librela isn’t cheap but boy is it effective! Oscar is back to his bouncy old self. Health is so important in our lives and the lives of our pets.
