it’s fridays with oscar. which means another week is at an end. today, i struggled with an ootd as my closet is under wraps. literally. the contractor showed up. my closet is finally coming together. but guess what’s under sheets of plastic? that’s right. my clothes… so when life hands you lemons. there’s always lemonade. if the shoes were flats instead of sandals this outfit would be perfect. c’est le vie!
oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend!

Love the outfit. Red skirts are a thing of mine (love love). And the jacket is awesome and yes, sandals look great on that set! Put it a lighter look.
you love color as much as i do! it’s always fun to create new color combos. but orange and green are a favorite of mine. especially this time of year.
xoxo
Color of your nail polish? Love the color!
Good look on you! Oscar looks like Rin Tin Tin in the pictures. My dogs like to pretend to be Rinty or Lassie and come and tell me something important…ha! xoxo
what would we do without our dogs, donna? they truly are man’s best friend. oscar always loves to come and tell me something when i sit at my computer. he puts his snout right under my arm then throws it in the air. now how’s that for grabbing your attention?
xoxo
I like the outfit just like it is! And I love the 4th picture where you and Oscar are looking at each other. 🙂 gwingal
you’re the best nikki! but isn’t oscar a hoot? best dog ever!
xoxo
I had to laugh at your comment–it looks great to me! And the sandals are adorable with it. Just goes to show how self-critical we all are. you look very pulled-together. And I love when I see you sporting something we’ve seen before but in a totally different variation on a theme–it shows the power of styling and options.
The closet sounds wonderful–send them to my place when they’re done. I will be on the road as of this next week, and I’m wondering when I’m going to have any time to switch out all my summer clothes for fall/winter things. It may be thanksgiving before it’s all in place the way I’ll want it! Thankfully, I know this every year so I’m good at season-spanning clothes to begin with. Lots of sheath dresses and jackets and things that pack well and don’t need ironing. sigh…it’s beginning…
Have a great weekend–Oscar looks mighty happy to have you home!
well, you’re officially on the road again. safe travels, friend. i hope you might make it to my neck of the woods. there are some mighty fine restaurants here in athens you would love!
xoxo
