fridays with oscar
there are many fridays when oscar is at the top of his game, hamming for the camera, and totally focused. on those days he just ‘knows’ it’s his weekly gig, and he shows up ready to strike a pose. today wasn’t one of those days. today, oscar was the least bit interested in posing for the camera. what did catch his attention were dead leaves, tree bark, scents on the ground, sticks, and of course, the other canines that passed by from time-to-time. we’ve always thought along with our vet and dog-walker that oscar is a tad add. and, i have learned, that german shepherds tend to be late bloomers. we owned another breed, bouvier des flandres, which is very similar to german shepherds, and i will admit it took bosco up until 2 full years before he matured into the amazing dog that he was. soooooo, the 3rd picture from the bottom pretty much sums up today’s photo shoot with my favorite german shepherd. children and pets always keep life real! that’s why i love them so much.

Red is such a stunning color on you Beth…beautiful! I decided since I so look forward to Oscar every Friday on Instagram I needed to stop by and get a full on Oscar fix…and he didn’t disappoint! All four of our dogs photobomb my shots on a regular basis, but I’m not so sure a single one of them would cooperate on a whole shoot with me…so ADD or not, your boy is doing a fabulous job!
