good morning, good morning, good morning. fall decided to return to athens. and not a moment too soon. our front porch has slowly transitioned from summer to fall this past week. so today, i’m taking the liberty to show our progress. mr. style is getting the hang of home dec photography. but this is definitely a work in progress – me decorating (there was no need for five years in our tiny two bedroom apartment in san francisco) and mr. style snapping. and, of course, oscar helping. or maybe not… he was more interested in the pinecones and pumpkins. that scallywag even snitched a nut from my decorating stash.
take a peek at what we’ve accomplished. nothing fancy, but it’s home sweet home for us. now, it’s time to take the peanut for a walk.
can you believe another week has come and gone? TGIF peeps! on that happy note, oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend.

The porch is looking good! We had the same small white pumpkins–they’re elegant, I think. I put them all down the center of our Thanksgiving table, interspersed with beeswax candles, and they looked gorgeous. You and Oscar are set for the cooler temps. I hear they’re coming our way–bring ’em on! Have a great weekend!
your centerpiece sounds lovely! i might have to try something similar this year. can you believe next week is november? yikes! i better start planning my menu’s and tablescapes and, well, there’s lot’s to be done.
xoxo
Lovely photos, Oscar is a beautiful dog¡¡¡
Absolutely love it! Your porch says, “come and visit for awhile”, it’s friendly, welcoming, and I love the all natural feel.
Your porch looks very festive! Looks like a good place to sit and enjoy some hot chocolate or spiced cider. I see Oscar stalking the pine cone. He is looking at the pumpkin with suspicion…”what the heck?” The outfit is perfect for a fall Friday with Oscar. xoxo
Doesn’t Oscar want to eat the pumpkins? He is so well behavouring…
