for those of you heading to warmer temperatures over the holidays don’t forget to bring a jacket. or a scarf for that matter. these two wardrobe staples are perfect layering pieces. and come in handy if the sun decides to disappear and the wind picks up. vacations are all about easy breezy style which is why this striped jacket is perfect to toss into a suitcase. the boxy shape and oversized pockets give this blazer added character that’s sure to be the perfect partner to skirts, shorts or denim. as soon as summer makes an appearance this beauty will be on repeat. in the meantime, it will tag along with me when i zip down to florida in january.

on a dreary day i love to add a pop of color to my ootd. this red tank peeking beneath the jacket does the trick. add a patterned scarf a few silver baubles and this outfit is resort ready. it’s goodbye cold temps and hello tropical breezes!
