Sweet, savory, and just a little tangy, these sliders are easy to serve up in batches—ideal for feeding a crowd without fuss.
Ingredients:
For the Sliders:
2lbsstore-bought pulled porkwith or without sauce
12slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1tbspbuttermelted (for brushing)
Sesame seedsoptional, for topping
For the Apple Slaw:
2cupsshredded green cabbage
1cupshredded red cabbage
1large appleGranny Smith or Honeycrisp, thinly sliced into matchsticks
1medium carrotshredded
3green onionsthinly sliced
Slaw Dressing:
½cupmayonnaise
2tbspapple cider vinegar
1tbspDijon mustard
1tsphoney
Salt and freshly ground pepperto taste
Instructions:
Make the Slaw: In a large bowl, combine cabbages, apple, carrot, and green onions. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayo, vinegar, Dijon, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour over slaw and toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve.
Warm the Pork: Heat the pulled pork according to package directions. If it doesn’t already have sauce, add your favorite barbecue sauce to taste.
Assemble Sliders: Split buns, add warm pulled pork, and top generously with apple slaw. Place the top bun on and brush lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
