Citrus Basil Aperol Spritz

A golden twist on a classic, this spritz is summer in a glass.
Makes: 2 Cocktails

Ingredients:  

  • 4 oz Aperol
  • 4 oz grapefruit juice freshly squeezed, if possible
  • 4 oz chilled Prosecco
  • Basil leaves
  • Orange slice for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions: 

  • Fill a wine glass or large tumbler with ice.
  • Add Aperol and grapefruit juice to the glass.
  • Top with Prosecco and stir gently.
  • Slap a few basil leaves between your palms to release their aroma, then add them to the drink.
  • Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the citrusy twist on a classic.
