it’s never a hardship on my part to partner with one of my favorite brands, especially when they are commemorating a milestone. yes, Talbots is celebrating 70 years of modern classic style. 70! isn’t it comforting to know style doesn’t have an expiration date? as a matter of fact, Talbots collections keep getting better and better with each passing year. and to pay tribute to this special occasion, they created a capsule collection of iconic pieces – seven in all. one for each decade. but let’s not forget Talbots was founded all those years ago by an entrepreneurial woman with a vision for a modern classic style. one of many reasons i have great respect for Talbots.
are you ready to take a look at the collection? here it is. a crisp white button-down inspired by 1940’s fashion. a contemporary take on the 1950’s-inspired pearl necklace. the little black dress from the 1960’s. a 1970’s inspired cable boucle sweater. a slimming and sophisticated 1980’s statement blazer. it’s pink, ladies, pink! a luxurious silk square scarf represents the 1990’s. and last but by no means least is a beautiful croc-embossed statement bag.
