Enjoy following you so much. Had knee replacement on Sept. 11th. Had my incision glued. No staples. Forgive me but I adored you shorter haircut. So sharp. Stay well.

  2. Julie Mycock says:

Hi Beth, what lovely colours, you have made your living room a calm place to be, well done. It’s amazing how tweaking a few things can make such a difference, xoxo Julie from England

  3. Julie says:

I love your coffee table and the Reese Witherspoon book. I do have it! You work hard but you are blessed to have such beautiful things. I live vicariously I guess.

  4. Michelle says:

I have collected blue/white pottery since 80s. Even visited Delft factory. Lost everything in 2018 Paradise, CA fire. There is life after ashes and new collecting.

  5. Eve says:

How beautiful. It deserves the cover of BHG magazine. Your art work is amazing! What I like most about your home is how comfortable it looks.

  6. Lisa Simmons-Yarbro says:

    Hi Beth,
    Lovely living room! So inviting!
Where is the small potted Olive tree from?

    Thanks!!
    Lisa

  7. Suzanne Smith says:

Very nice! It all looks great. Sometimes you just have to mix things up some.

  8. cathy ogi says:

Love your purple flowers on the chest. That color! I love purple and flowers.

  9. Mary C says:

Lovely! Your home looks so inviting. Thank you for sharing. I had seen the painting of the boats above your mantle in an earlier post and still love it in this post as well.

  10. Pam says:

Hi Beth, Thanks this morning from Omaha, NE I love the eclectic look and all of the interesting pieces in your living spaces. You have put a smile on my face and courage in my steps today. Have a great day!

  11. Pamela says:

What a lovely home you’ve created and you have such a beautiful decorating style. I enjoy seeing these day in the life posts.

  12. It’s really cool that you refreshed your living room. I like how you did it. Everything in your ideas at the same time looks restrained and defiant. I admire your ideas and ability to arrange everything in such a way that pleases my eye, haha. The white room in the composition of the painting executed in black colors is generally wonderful. The most interesting thing is that it does not attract attention to itself. I’ll even say more if I didn’t select it if there weren’t a separate photo. Thanks for your ideas !!

  13. Mary Ellen says:

Beth , would you share your paint colors with me dining room living room

  14. Susan says:

Lovely space! Do you have a link to the cream pillow with red/orange fruit and vine on your sectional? That’s just what I’m looking for!

    Thanks!

  15. Maria says:

Where did you get the pink floral pillow in the sectional? Looks great.

  16. Lisa says:

Lovely room! Love your blog and videos. Thank you for sharing. Can we see your entryway? It is such a challenge to me to decorate an entryway.

  17. Jayne says:

Hope you never change the dining chair fabric — it’s awesome, the perfect choice, color, and scale for your space, and so uplifting! Ditto for your personal style, too, Beth. Are you willing to share the manufacturer and pattern name of the chair floral fabric? Thanks again for all you do!!

  18. Sylvia Espinoza says:

Swooning over the soothing, inviting, come-sit-and-visit-for-a-while looks you always create. As I look around my own surroundings, am inspired to tweak them, “shopping” out of my thrifting hauls! Thanks for such a great post. The painting over your fireplace has been my most favorite piece, among many others in your home~

  19. Lyn says:

Beth, I admire you for pulling yourself up by your boot straps and have met all that life has thrown at you with strength and grace. I think your love of home, style, and a great Friday cocktail are to be admired and are proof that we ladies are strong and carry on by putting one foot in front of the other. I try to put my best foot forward every day.

    • Beth Djalali says:

thank you so very much for your kind words, lyn. it isn’t easy sometimes to go forward but then we would miss all that life has to offer if we did. xo

  20. Joanie says:

    Hi Beth
I love the “Two Boats” painting. Beautiful and serene. What a nice symbol of your marriage to Mr Style! Your home is lovely, yet comfortable looking, a place to relax and put your feet up. I, too, favor white walls. I like to add color with accessories. I love your linen white paint color from Benjamin Moore. Your decorating style is one I can emulate. I like eclectic, yet classic traditional style. You are a brave, strong example to many, Beth. Blessings and gratitude for all you are and do. Joanie

You home is very cheerful and interesting. It would be fun to see the before and after pictures highlighting what changes you made. I like decorating too. I love your blue leather sofa.
    Happy September!
