First off – Happy Anniversary!!!!! It was so nice to see how your blog started.
Thank you for being in my inbox every morning – it is such a nice way to start my day.

I’m so glad I found your blog – you are one of the few bloggers I can actually relate to.

Here is to many more years of Style at a Certain Age!!!!

  8. Mary Brignano says:

Happy Blogiversary, Beth — really appreciate your hard work and great ideas from closet shopping to new picks. You are definitely a woman on the move!

    • beth djalali says:

thanks, mary! i’m always happy to hear that you’re finding some inspiration from the blog. i think raising 3 boys kept me on my toes so i’m used to a quick pace.
      xoxo beth

  9. Dearest Beth, Loved your blogging story. Yes. I was so sorry we couldn’t get together. I had my cornea polished. You want pain and suffering? Try it. In fact right now I’m in the middle of having my other cornea polished. As the doctor has said ” It’s miserable.” But missing you makes me miserable also. Your blog has had a lasting effect on me. I always wear sunglasses and when my husband takes a photo I always try and pose with my foot raised like yours! On Instagram I always sign off with a me smiling with dark glasses. Love all your looks. You must have the largest closet in the world. Show us one day. Love you OFTD posts always so fun and creative and real. Congratulations on it all!

  10. OOps, I was wrong. When you were in town I had a cold. Not just any cold. It got worse each day until I developed bronchitis. So when you were in town I just got sicker and sicker. And I’m sick that we didn’t meet!

  11. Smoopy says:

Congratulations and thanks for sharing the startup story! I love your outfits–in particular, I appreciate that while so much of fashion blogging today is about “capsule wardrobes” and paring down, you have a lot of different clothes and put them all together so well. I get a lot of inspiration from how you mix things I wouldn’t think of mixing, while always looking chic. Good wishes for many more years of blogging.
P.S. Your bully was adorable – aren’t they the best dogs?

    • beth djalali says:

thank you for stopping by! we had two bullies and i absolutely adored them. buster was such a good natured fellow, and so handsome. people always stopped us on the street to comment.
      xoxo beth

  12. donnanance says:

Happy Blogoversary! You have come a long way, baby! It’s interesting to read about your adventure in learning with your blog. Found a lady in her 80’s who has a nice blog. It’s not just for the millennials and the tech savvy. Found some outfits I had not pinned… Buster was a very handsome fella. Love the picture of Oscar as a baby… Kudos to your husband’s photography skills… xoxo

  13. Happy blogiversary, Beth. It was really inspiring to read your post, and to know that I am not alone struggling with plug-ins and widgets (I thought they were something to do with car engines before I started blogging!). I also struggle to find enough outfits to post despite the fact that I have a whole room full of wardrobes! I love your posts with Oscar too!
