Come spring and fall I love to welcome the season with a mini porch refresh. Now is the time to add beautiful fall decor. When September rolls into town my geraniums are ready to bid farewell. They’ve worked hard all summer long so I completely understand their willingness to fade off into the sunset. Enter a few fall favorites like Zinnias or Mums that are just waiting to burst into bloom. Yep, it’s time to pick a few pumpkins from the pumpkin patch (or Trader Joe’s) and step into fall!

I always get so many questions about my front porch planters that hail from Grandin Road. They add a splash of color and a hint of whimsy! My porch railing planters can be found at Lowe’s or Home Depot. And the rocking chairs are also from Grandin Road. Honestly, most of my outdoor decor comes from this brand. I LOVE just about everything they offer.

Varsity color-blocked sweater
Today’s outfit was a big hit on Instagram so I thought I would share it with my blog family. It starts with Mother White Denim. This brand is on the pricey side but I have to admit I love the fit! I typically size up one size with Mother denim, especially when it’s white denim. I added a white tee underneath this varsity color block half zip sweater that’s über comfortable! You could easily size down since the fit is quite roomy, but it’s a great third layer for early fall and I love the pops of color. A pair of white sneakers adds comfort as well as cuteness to this perfectly casual fall outfit.
