Please give us an article about appropriate undergarments. I don’t see slips sold anywhere but I still feel naked in a skirt or dress without one. I’m so afraid it can be seen through!

  2. I usually cannot wait to see your site, You wear such classy outfits, but I am really on the fence with this baggy tent dress. Being 5’3″and petite, it would overwhelm me. as well as your petite daughter-in-law. Happy shopping.

completely understand your sentiments. however, there’s a time and place for an oversized shirtdress. a hot summer day fits the bill for me.

  3. Carley says:

Such a great look and an easy outfit for try ons today! Have a great trip with Kelly and bring us back all the good stuff as you always do! Looking forward to the NSale!

  4. Very pertty dress on you!!

  5. Janet says:

    HI Beth!
I know you and Kelly are having a really fun time shopping at Nordstrom today. I just love my “girls’ time” with my two daughters-in law, too! I will be very interested to see what you choose and zero in on at the Anniversary Sale, because I was very uninspired and disappointed with the offerings this year. But I know you will find some treasures to rock and share with us!
    Happy shopping!

  6. Kelley says:

I really have to agree with the previous comment. I was so surprised to see this. Truly, I don’t think that dress should be allowed out of the house.

But, in saying that, I’m certainly not a “fashionista” by any stretch!

  7. Deanna says:

Have fun in Atlanta you two! Can’t wait for tomorrows post to see what caught your eyes inside Nordstrom’s.
Love the Eileen Fisher dress. You look ready for a day of shopping in comfort.

  8. Laura says:

I normally love everything you wear, but this Eileen Fisher dress looks like a K-mart housecoat on you. Sorry! Just my humble opinion.

    • Beth Djalali says:

i hope you stop by sometime and let me know when you love an outfit. style is always about personal preference. isn’t it great there are so many choices these days?!

  9. Karen says:

Beth oh how I have loved your blog….I have always been a preppy one always conservative. As I have now reached my 70’s and must let go of so many of my clothing treasures…do you have a suggestion as to where one might sell/ donate these classics.
    Thank you!

    • Beth Djalali says:

Uou can sell your clothes at a consignment store. Thredup is a nice online alternative or I’m certain you have one locally available. I love to donate to Dress for Success or a local Women’s Shelter.

  10. La Donna says:

    Love your hair style!!

  11. Shannon says:

    Love your work Beth..
    But…
Eileen F. Prices are insane!! Who buys that stuff post pandemic?!?
    You know what ?
I was at target today and bought a really cool black dress 20 bucks and guess how many women I saw my age? Tons!

  12. Andrea says:

I absolutely love to see your posts. You look great in anything you wear! I am so impressed with your positive energy as well. I remember my momma teaching me that if you haven’t anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all….yet people think that leaving negative comments is ok. Yet your responses are so positive. Truly, you are a gem of an individual. I also have to agree with the comment about slips…….Where can we find them???

  13. HODA says:

I love the dress! It looks much darker than the one pictured in the store. What color is the dress you’re wearing? Thanks!
