As you know, I love Art and all things French and Italian! So, yes, I hope you are also charmed by this very happy Bitter Campari French liquor advertisement from 1921 by the iconic Italian poster artist, Leonetto Cappiello. It seems a fitting image to celebrate our new year…he is even dressed in our magenta, garnet red theme, dancing with good luck oranges!!

1. Drink Parties
Sharing my passions with you is a joy… crystal and this week, festive celebration drinks of all kinds seem appropriate. It is too soon to let new year celebrations end!
I am remembering the impromto “Drinks Parties” my New York neighbor would throw at her chic little pied-à-terre across the hallway!! What fun!! Cheers to you, Anne, up in the heavens!!

Springs of mint, basil, and rosemary, with slivers or wedges of cucumber, orange, pineapple, pear, lemon, and lime peel are fragrant and fabulous artistic touches that are practical too, as we swirl our sublime treats of celebration!! Hopefully, some of these beauties will inspire celebrations throughout your new year too!!
