Palm Trees, Palm Leaves…. are seemingly on everything and everywhere this special summer of 2021!!
They are in our minds, our homes…even on our bodies!! Artists, Architects, Fashion, Industrial, and Interior Designers have been inspired by the Palm – forever!! Not only are they green and natural, they evoke wonderful, tranquil visions and windswept memories of faraway lands, relaxation, fun, and much-needed vacance!!

A little Riviera fun…strolling La Croisette with its swaying Palms and vistas! Beauty and Color and Life!! Along my way, I have learned the Palm Tree is actually an Herb…not a tree!! We learn every day
if we are lucky and curious!! Our lives have all been enriched by the many varieties and shapes of her beautiful leaves – fronds… Here are a few of my favorites! From wallpaper, stationery, dinnerware, and objets d’art!! Please enjoy!!

Celebrated American Artist Michael Aram’s Palm Collection was inspired while he was lunching with friends on a veranda by the sea! Nature has been his “special muse.” His work is well-loved by all! Couples especially enjoy registering for his fabulous collections to grace their new homes! Just yesterday, I helped a client – guest with an Olive Bowl as a shower gift for a Greek Couple from Michael’s Olive Collection. A beautiful Olive motif graced their shower invitation…so how perfect, how natural, and a symbol of peace!

As you know, Beverly Hills and California have been home to me for more than half my life…so naturally, the famed Bel- Air and Beverly Hills Hotel hold special memories along with their glorious Palms! Do let me share their beauty and inspiration, many reminiscent of Hollywood’s Golden Age! Their incredible architecture and settings – surrounded by fabulous Palms bring tranquility, beauty and surely put air in the lungs and a smile on our faces!!
