We don’t have to travel to the Barcelona fruit market or around the world to enjoy the Fruits of Summer!! They will be in our local farmers market, gourmet stores, grocer and now, many are even at the corner drug store!! So let's savor the fruits of Summer!
Their prime summer season is short, so let’s enjoy them at their peak…peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, cherries and glorious berries and watermelon. Whether you enjoy them with your hands, grilling, baking or garnishing; they are all delectable NOW!!
Their colors are genius…so inspiring for the appetite, home décor and ready to wear too!!

Savoring the Fruits of Summer
1. Berries
Some say raspberries have the cheeriest and most hopeful flavor of the berries! Enjoy them quickly as their life is short – yet very beautiful!! I love them as well as strawberries with yogurt and nuts, a classic vanilla ice cream and of course, in a favorite Champagne!!
Is there any better snack than a simple, satisfying handful of blueberries?? Oh, so healthy, too! Mixed berries over French toast or warm pancakes…. create delectable breakfasts that will make you feel you are definitely on vacation! Of course, you could also mix them into the batter with a little fresh rosemary to transport with beautiful aroma!! Such happiness with smells so comforting!! Real Maple syrup or blueberry syrup work too and add to the joy!!
2. Melons & Citrus
Melons and citrus are so colorful, flavorful and whimsical for summer entertaining…indoor or out! They are charming shapes for dinnerware, accents, for salads or garnishing your favorite drink!
3. Pineapple & Tarts
Oh, how we love the Pineapple…tropical joy! So colorful for décor too! We can find mini versions for each place setting or large for centerpieces. Spears are fabulous in exotic drinks. Designers love this happy fruit in all her glory for every imaginable accessory: Dinnerware, cocktail picks, cheese boards, fabrics, pillows and on and on….
