Great outfit and best of all, I think I can replicate the look. You look very trim…are you still rising before the chickens and working out? xoxo

      hi donna!
yes, i am up and at my workout before the sun rises. although they did add a 7am class which i much prefer over 5:30am. I’m feel great and before you know it i’ll be back in tip top shape!

I always love camel, rich browns, and plaids–and I’m a sucker for the elbow patches. You look lovely.

I have a sweater with elbow patches, and a jacket I always get compliments on–it just adds a nice touch. I hear you–Ralph Lauren lasts forever. I have a beautiful camel-colored suede RL vest that I realize is almost 20 years old, and people still comment on it and ask about where I got it. It’s so soft and it never gets old.

i don’t know what it is about elbow patches, but if a sweater or shirt or jacket has them, well, it just might have to come home with me. it’s such a simple detail but it looks so chic!

I really enjoy catching up with your blog on a daily basis. I must admit to being a bit lost in the wilderness of style (got lost along the way through motherhood and work and putting myself last) and I find your outfits give me the inspiration I need. Being the same age as yourself, I now realise I CAN wear that and not look like mutton dressed as lamb. It’s all in how it’s put together. Thank you.

thanks so much for stopping by. isn’t it wonderful to rediscover your style mojo?! i’m so happy to hear that you have. when you’re armed with the right outfit choices you step out the door with confidence to spare. clothes are a powerful tool you can use to your advantage!
