fridays with oscar

hopefully my new tennies caught your eye–there’s some bling goin’ on. don’t you love it? a few weeks ago, i was perusing a mailer, and these shoes caught my attention. as soon as i pointed to them, without hesitation, a friend said, “oh, those love you.” so, i had to have them. here they are making their debut on fridays with oscar.

we all know i tend to develop a crush on particular pairs of shoes, so you might get a little tired of them over the next few weeks. but they look fantastic with athleisure–another trend that shows no sign of disappearing. tracksuits have come a long way since the days of matching jackets and bottoms meant for a lazy saturday afternoon. nowadays our athletic wear goes out to dinner, runs errands, and even makes it to the gym with us. this ootd would look fabulous with a pair of sandals and jazzy earrings for date night.

today my athleisure wear is going for a walk in the neighborhood. that is, if i can peel myself away from snapchat. those filters are just too darn fun! thank goodness oscar is a patient boy. not so with mr. style who keeps telling me i need to ‘get my act together’ and get out the door! well, seeing as it’s friday, there’s no need to get much of anything together as the week is winding down.
