i really enjoyed the video. Your tablescape is lovely.

And a fashion question: how do you decide what to buy to add to your wardrobe each season? Thx!

    • beth djalali says:

well, i first take a look to see if there are any gaps in my wardrobe when it comes to the basics. maybe something has worn out and needs replacing. then i take a look at my “want” list. those items that have been on my must-have list and it’s time to splurge. and i try to keep abreast of the trends and see what i can add on for the season.

Your tablescape is beautiful! It would be nice to entertain outdoors well into fall. Oscar is looking for his plate…does he eat tomatoes? My boys love tomatoes. Have a wonderful weekend. xoxo

oscar is not interested in tomatoes whatsoever, donna! he can be quite picky when it comes to food. he’s definitely a grazer. that’s so cute your boy loves them. dogs are such amazing creatures with likes and dislikes all their own.

I enjoy your your videos. If for no other reason than to hear the person I’m following actually speak! Being of a certain age, have you ever considered any cosmetic treatments, such as Botox, fillers, lasers? I’m curious how you feel about these popular options as we age.
    Have a great weekend!

    • beth djalali says:

that’s so nice to hear! thanks for sharing your thoughts. as for cosmetic treatments i personally haven’t ventured into this arena. i think every woman has to thoughtfully consider what helps her to feel her best at any given age. and it should never be a divisive topic. who knows? maybe at some point my eye will droop badly enough to affect my vision. aging has it’s physical challenges along the way. so i’m not pro or con. at the moment i’m happy to look like the 59 year old version of me and know i’ve earned every wrinkle and gray hair. it’s never been important to me to ‘look’ like i’m 40 or 10 years younger than i am. heck, i love being my age and don’t mind looking my age. it is such a privilege to wake up each and every day with my health and loved ones. life is precious. that’s what we should be chasing instead of the fountain of youth.
