how to wear a J. Crew liberty print with jeans
long weekends always throw my week off. it’s tuesday but i’m thinking it’s monday. by the time we hit friday a short four-day week turned into a marathon. love those three day weekends. but the four-day week not so much. but i decided to kick off the week getting my casual groove on. once those summer temps descend it’s all about staying cool and chic. and i’m always on the hunt for items that will do just that.
today’s ootd starts with a lighter than air J.Crew classic popover in a Liberty London print. it’s made from lightweight cotton and is perfect with blue jeans, shorts or skirts. popovers are known for their loose fit which comes in handy on a hot day. and i’m a big fan of Liberty London known for their feminine and floral prints. last year i added this vibrant yellow print to my closet. this year it’s blues, pinks, and purples.

the popover shirt has a ruffled collar and smocking details.
these straight leg jeans are made from sustainably dyed organic cotton. they’re incredibly soft and comfy. and the light rinse is perfect for summer. they’ll look great with flats or heels. today i reached for pink suede sandals with scallop details.
i know, i know, i’m a sucker for wicker handbags. this particular handbag (old, similar here) was purchased years ago during our days in Vietnam. it’s still one of my all-time favorites.
