it’s time to be merry and bright as we head into the holiday weekend. all three of our kiddos will be under our roof come friday. oscar is always beside himself once they step through the door. and ollie is on hand to say hello. friday night we’re headed to a christmas variety show held at the classic center. and there’s a fun surprise in store for all three saturday morning. then the usual christmas eve smorgasbord followed by presents. christmas morning brunch is served at 10 am then we head to the movie theater. christmas+movie is a tradition started years ago by my dad who was christened a genius at the time by his teenage children.
today’s ootn is in the running for friday night. a hot pink silk blouse from J.Crew (rats! i just purchased this blouse but it’s sold out! but i found similar tops here and here) popped over faux leather leggings from Ann Taylor is the perfect mix of festive and casual. if you like a more formal look add a tuxedo blazer. pink suede pumps from Talbots seemed like the perfect companion to a holiday outfit. but don’t forget a glitzy clutch handbag. pump up the volume with a pendant necklace, charm bracelet, and crystal earrings. all in all, this outfit is good to go!
