stripes away
what’s black and white and red all over? okay, so today’s ootd isn’t exactly a newspaper but the color scheme could answer this riddle in a pinch. i love the fact these pants are linen which means they’re breathable and a breeze to wear on a hot day in july. my fab cat-eye sunglasses are on again. they were such a big hit with all of you that i had to scramble to get another photo set in before i return them at the end of the month. which happens to be this weekend. how did that happen? wasn’t it just the 4th of july? dear lord, before you know it we’ll be putting up the christmas tree. i actually saw puffer jackets hanging front and center at j.crew mercantile today! but back to my regularly scheduled program. errr, ootd. a black cotton v-neck sweater is a nice contrast with these white sunnies. silver bangles and hoops are just the right accents to polish off this outfit. but i can’t forget a cute handbag. i’ve been toting this lbh all summer long as it’s just the right size to fit all of my essentials. mr. style may think my outfit is a tad boring. but some days just demand a relaxed attitude. especially come summer.

Not boring at all–I enjoy seeing how people wear something (such as the pants and top and necklace, which we’ve seen individually in other mixes) again, but in a completely different way. Makes me want to go do what I call “shopping in my own closet!” I have that bag and agree–I’ve been reaching for it over and over–I love it.
All I can say is, you make me want to hang out and spend the day with you, shopping, doing photo shoots, sipping cool drinks.
