Love all the outfits, especially the first one. Is there shopping info for the purple velvet blazer and sequined skirt?

  2. So many cute and tres’ chic outfits! You really hit the nail on the head this time. So many ideas to work with.

    Hi Beth.
I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now and I enjoy it.
It’s a great idea to supply shopping info.
I love the new bling series.
    I have a few comments.
    1. The pale grey of the print of your blog is barely readable.
    Please change.
    2. I notice you wear your pants much shorter than I wear
mine. Since I hem my own, I choose a length that covers
the top of my shoes. With yours being to your ankles, there
is a space of naked skin showing which detracts from your
polished look. Knee highs or tights would solve this.
    Keep up the good work.
    Phyllisa

polished look.. Knee highs or tights would solve this.

Thanks for stopping by! Style is always about your comfort zone. And stepping out the door in confidence. If you love a trouser length, then that’s exactly what you should wear. These days retailers offer so many different options regarding pants length (cropped, ankle, straight, etc…). I love them all and wear them all.

You’re a doll! You serve as inspiration to all of us to step outside our comfort zone! 💝

Can’t wait to see your hair metamorphosis! You keep us enthralled and I thank you! You’re NEVER boring or staid!💝

Beautiful outfits Beth! I wish you could do a post like this in late October instead of mid-December so we would have more time to plan and shop with your guidance. If you saw all the piece meal holiday garb I have, you’d probably faint! Lol! I need lead time to get-it-together for myself! There’s no way I’m concentrating on outfits for me right now with all the other things to do, but…I still love this post and will save it for next year, and maybe January for sales! Love your style. Particularly love the velvet outfits!

  6. Nancy says:

For readers who are interested in clothing items that are old and no longer available, check out Postmark.com. Beth usually gives the brand so you can search. I saw the velvet blazer and the sequin skirt both on the site – I have both the items but I think I got them from ThredUp.com.
No return policy is the only downside of Poshmark.

  7. Hi Beth
They are all so pretty is hard to choose
the black and white tuxedo is one of my favorites!
    The plaids, the black dresses.
    all gorges!!
    Thank you for sharing all

  8. Barbara Paul says:

Thank you for another interesting and inspiring post Beth. Can someone please explain to me the fascination, almost bordering on obsession, of the little black dress? In the UK it is the colour of mourning. It is a colour that does not flatter many women and drains the faces of many. I have attended events where everyone but me was wearing black – they just blended into each other.
Please consider an article on the little red dress, little green dress, etc. Have a fabulous Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

  9. RORY says:

Love those red party shoes. I wish I had somewhere to wear them. You always look great, very classy.

  10. Janice Robinson says:

I absolutely love your site Beth! I look forward to receiving your posts. Your sense of style is lovely, and you have the best selection of shoes, hands-down. I never realized how much “the shoes make the outfit”, until I started following you. It’s so nice to see clothing that suits women in their 60’s +. Thank you for your insight and links to so many wonderful ideas.

  11. Nancy says:

    All FABULOUS!!!!!
