  1. Brenda says:

I have appreciated your block and your journey for about a year now. Thank you! I looked at the you tube video on coats and find I “must have” the blouse you are wearing – the blue one. Do you have a source for that? Much appreciate your help!

  2. Maura says:

There’s nothing like a classic movie! I belong to TCM Backlot and see their featured movies on the big screen, like Lawrence of Arabia. Also a local college has a film class open to the public. There’s a movie and lecture each week.

  3. R. Dawson says:

… and I was sure Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn would be your first pick! Wrong!

  4. Suzanne M Smith says:

Ahhh–the Thomas Crown Affair is a good choice! I love the original. I wasn’t as fond of the newer version, with Pierce Brosnan–it’s also good, but not as classic as the original with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Growing up, when you didn’t have the access we do now, to streaming, and movies on TV and on demand, we would head into NYC every chance we got to see movies when they first came out. We saw everything! And my boyfriend and I are huge movie buffs to this day. I also love indie movies–the more artsy, unique films that don’t necessarily follow the Hollywood formulas. Your outfit today is perfect for theaters that can be chilly–I almost always have to have a jacket with me at the movies.

  5. Diane says:

The Thomas Crown affair is on my favorite movies list as well, Beth! I love the 1999 version even more – starring Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnan. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. The chemistry between those two is unforgettable!

  6. Patricia says:

Loved the remake with Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnan and her wardrobe by Michael Kors for Celine.
    Cinema dreams.

  7. Jan says:

You look beautiful, as always; I was wondering what brand of sunglasses are you wearing…
    I love them !

  8. Cindy J. says:

Just love those classic movies, but I must admit I am partial to the Bogie-Bacall movies. The chemistry between those two is hypnotic! My husband and I just watched The Big Sleep last night. We also love To Have and Have Not, Dark Passage, and Key Largo. And of course, Bogie in Casa Blanca, The Maltese Falcon, and Sabrina. We also love The Thin Man series of movies. Love your outfit, Beth!

  9. Jeannine says:

Hello. I, too, love classic movies! Give me anything with Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Myrna Loy, Doris Day, Rock Hudson..so many great actors who presented themselves with class and grace. Did you see the movie with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O’Toole, How to Steal a Million? So fun! Love your content, Beth. Thank you, 💐

  10. Jane says:

Love your posts. I love the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce Brosnan. I’ll make a point to see the Steve McQueen original. We shop at a lot of the same stores. I don’t love you in leather jackets and would like to see you in more softer choices like long sweaters and wraps or ruanas.

  11. Betty (SC) says:

Love the outfit! Leather jacket, turtleneck, boots & hobo! – Great movie choice! What a pair- Dunaway& McQueen (who also looks pretty good in a turtleneck!).

  12. Katrina Breedibg says:

Just discovered you and love everything. Please name the vintage jewelry store mentioned in your how to wear brooches video. Hope I am not too late! So proud of you.

  13. Deborah H says:

Love the look and will duplicate it next week when hubby and I go to the movies.
That was my very first movie I went to without parents, I was 10 and my sister was 12. I haven’t seen it since, so need to see it again.
