now that the holidays are in full swing, it’s easy for stress to creep into our lives. there are menu’s to plan, presents to wrap, trees to trim, itineraries to plan, and deadlines to meet. oh sure, UPS will still deliver that package by christmas eve if you dilly dally and wait until december 23rd to pick out the perfect gift. but it will cost an arm and a leg. remember, all christmas goodies should be postmarked by december 18th to ensure they’re tucked safely under the tree in time for christmas morning.

sheesh, there are so many things to do and so little time. and i’m headed out the door on tuesday to england for five days which puts me behind schedule… calgon take me away. which is one way i battle stress – a nice hot bubble bath. another way i combat strain is a regular stop to my local nail salon for a mani/pedi. there’s nothing like a nice hot soak and foot massage. or, my all-time favorite treat – a trip to the spa for a facial. ladies, it’s important to take care of yourselves this holiday season. so if you’re feeling overloaded take a deep breath, take a nap, or eat that chocolate.
