plum pretty
fall’s color palette is just plum pretty. can you see the beautiful shades of heathered purple and blue that make up this shift dress? mr. style zoomed in for a closer look. i hope you can see the soft gradient shift in colors. the LOFT website calls this dark ruby, but i think it’s just plain purple perfection. and an ideal choice for a warm autumn day as the dress is a lightweight knit. and what about this plaid infinity scarf? the blue is a nice contrast against the plum and adds a bit of pizzazz to an otherwise simple ootd. many of you write in asking about comfortable shoes to wear. well, if you don’t own a pair of wedges i suggest you add at least one to your shoe collection. a stacked wedge heel gives extra support, looks great with dresses, and will keep my tootsies comfy all day. so i’m off and running on this busy wednesday.

The marled look of the knit is so rich and lovely! Great color and perfect fall colors! I can see it with tights and boots and jackets, too, later on. Today is cool and dreary in Va, and this cheers me up! Pretty scarf, too!
i immediately fell in love with this color palette. it just screams fall. such a simple look but it works due in large part because of the beautiful purples and blues.
