the summer fun continues here at styleatacertainage. today, i’m beating the heat in a pair of chinos and a sleeveless tee. as chilly as the san francisco temps can be during the summer months it’s quite the opposite here in athens! the variance is a good thirty degrees on any given day. if i’ve learned anything through the course of my life, it’s how to adapt to your circumstances. but chinos have always been a favorite of mine, so i’ve traded my long sleeve button-down and blazer for an on-trend tie tee. pointy-toed flats with a twist – they’re tweed – give this ootd the spit and polish it needs. and doesn’t a straw handbag have casual chic written all over it? summer, i’ve got your number! now, all i need is a cold glass of iced tea instead of my usual coffee. make that unsweetened iced tea. oh, how the south loves theirs sweet.
